4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 cups flour
4 tsp salt
4 tsp black pepper
3 Tbsp ground ginger
1 Tbsp ground nutmeg
2 tsp ground thyme
2 tsp ground sage
1 tsp cayenne pepper
2 Tbsp paprika
4 eggs
8 Tbsp water
2 Tbsp olive oil
3-4 cloves garlic (minced)
1 cup honey
¼ cup soy sauce
1 tsp black pepper
Canola oil (for frying)
Directions
Prepare Chicken: Pound chicken breasts to ½-inch thickness.
Make Spice Dredge: Combine flour, salt, black pepper, ginger, nutmeg, thyme, sage, cayenne, and paprika.
Egg Wash: Whisk eggs and water together.
Coat Chicken: Season chicken with salt and pepper, dip in flour mixture, then egg wash, and again in the flour mixture.
Fry Chicken: Heat ½ inch of canola oil in a skillet and fry chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
Honey Garlic Sauce: In a saucepan, sauté garlic in olive oil. Add honey, soy sauce, and black pepper. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Serve: Dip fried chicken in the honey garlic sauce and serve with rice or noodles.
