Ingredients
Base (for an 18 cm mold)
16 Oreo cookies
4 tablespoons melted butter
Filling:
2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin (optional)
16 Oreo cookies
500 ml heavy cream
200 g cream cheese (at room temperature)
6 tablespoons powdered sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Decoration:
Oreo cookies (as desired)
Instructions
Base:
Crush the Oreo cookies (including the filling) in a bowl until finely ground.
Add the melted butter and mix until you get a sandy, compact texture.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the mold, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
Refrigerate while preparing the filling.
Filling:
In a bowl, whip the heavy cream for 3 to 5 minutes until it doubles in volume and becomes soft and creamy. Set aside.
In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract with an electric mixer until smooth.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
