Ingredients
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1/2 cup cocoa powder
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup oil or melted butter
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup milk
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• Pinch of salt
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1/2 cup hot water or hot coffee
Instructions
1. Mix dry ingredients
Combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
2. Add wet ingredients
Add eggs, oil/butter, milk, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
3. Add hot liquid
Stir in hot water or coffee (this makes it extra moist and fudgy).
4. Bake
Pour into a greased pan and bake at 170°C for 30–40 minutes.
5. Cool
Let it cool completely before frosting.
