Ingredients
2 cups milk
1/3 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
2 tbsp cornstarch

Procedure
Add milk to a saucepan and warm it on low heat.
In a bowl, whisk egg yolks, sugar, and cornstarch until smooth.
Slowly add warm milk into the egg mixture while whisking.
Pour the mixture back into the saucepan.
Cook on low heat and stir continuously.
When the custard becomes thick and creamy, turn off the heat.
Add vanilla extract and butter.

Pour into a ziplock bag or serving bowl.
Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
